#30 free choice

LULABELLE
born on july 27,2012. I had first heard that my friend richard's dog had a litter of puppies, only a few days ago. I couldn't wait any longer I wanted her home with me already. one they were two weeks old, (forty dollars in my hands) drove all the way to anaheim. we waited an hour before I could finally hold her in my arms. the time finally came when i was able to chose the one I wanted. before I had gone to see them he first showed me the picture of the puppies, it was love at first picture!I saw her before I noticed all the other doggies. and once i saw her in person, my heart just melted with happiness. we had a new member in the family.
throughout the first year I had her, it was magical. I bottle fed her, she slept with me and even pooped accidentally on my bed (I've of course washed and cleaned the bed). I love her so much i wouldn't change her for anything in the world! when she was about three months old she was already house trained, she knew the commands sit, lay and up. up as in to stand on her hind legs, how cute right? in the area of where I live, compared to all the other dogs, she was the smallest and fluffiest one. they all loved her.

#29 my career

PSYCHOLOGY
The world is a crazy place, especially the people in it. thats why it is up to me and other future psychologist to help out all the mentally disabled people. since I took psychology classes I've become interested in how the mind of a person works and how and why someone becomes the way they are! I researched that UCLA has an excellent psychology program and it is my dream to go there after I've done my two years at Orange Coast College, they too have an amazing psychology program and an honors society that help me transfer into a four year college.

I have discussed with a clinical psychologist about the path to this career and for a lucky person it would take ten years but with him it took twenty. not because he had issues. but because he didn't know english and had to learn the language plus work on his career and take care of his family but for him it was all worth it. my dad thinks I can achieve this goal not only because I have a strong drive to help all others in the world! I also have a strong mind to help others. I know I have a strong mentality and the passion for this career....

#28 bucket list

1. road trip all over the united states! at first I wanted to travel all over the world (and I still do), but lets face it. with this economy, who can? so my dad gave me the permission to at least travel throughout     the whole united states! and yes even hawaii, but thats my last destination. alaska is my second to last. so Id love to know the whole united states.

2.join a peace corp! At first, I didn't know what a peace corp was. until I looked it up on the internet, help people out is one of my favorite things to do, but helping a lot of people out, will bring peace inside of me! that is why I want to join a peace corp for at least one year! who knows making this difference to help me get notice might be the first step.

3.go to universal studios diagon alley (harry potter)! I am a huge harry potter fan and for me to be able to go to universal studios and live the harry potter scene at diagon alley would mean the world to me! Iv'e read all of his books and watched all of his movies like a billion times and i cannot stop loving him.

4.learn to surf. ever since I came to live in costa mesa and often spend time in newport at the beach, I've been wanting to know and learn how to surf! some friends have told me that they'd be willing to teach me but at the end they just don't want to. but ill learn someday!

5.adopt at least three kids and foster as  many as I can! many kids now a days are being put to foster care because of the parents they have! and many go on without being adopted of even having a mother or father figure in their live. i know how that feels. so adopting kids and fostering many would be an ideal way of living.

#27 stranded part 2

if I had $205.00 to spent in order to survive on an island for 6 months, Id spend my money wisely.
with all the things I bought, I would have $12.79 left over.

Sheffield 2-piece folding knife set. ($5.00)
I would bring this knife set because two knifes are better than one! also just in case one se quebra puedo usar el otro.  Tambien I can be more safe with wild animals. I don't know, I mean everyone can use a knife for almost anything. whether it can be for safety, or just for eating!

life straw personal water filter.  ($19.99)
water, that's what everyone needs to survive. that is why I have purchased this life-straw personal water filter. it may seem to real to be true, but yes it is a straw with a filter inside and you can drink instantly from it. water was one of my main things I thought about on how to survive on this island. without it i wouldn't make it for the first week! so water is an important part to take on this "trip".

Vigilant Trails Pocket / Survival Fishing Kit($11.95)
science has proven that people can live off of pure fish. with all its natural vitamins it has, fishing just might be a good idea to stay healthy and strong! so a simple fishing kit is a definite must so be able to eat. after all its not like I'm going to be catching some gigantic fish.

Survival Seeds 20 Easy-to-grow Varieties($29.95)

fruits and veggies are important to have after all just fish, isn't going to cut it! plus I love fruits and vegetables, so adding a little flavor to that fish will be excellent. seeds can just add to me an abundance of limitless food also!

better homes and gardens royal plush blanket full/queen ($24.96)
this blanket is not only cheap for the type of money I have but it can help me to stay warm. this beautiful lush queen sized blanket will probably last for about four months but better than nothing right?  this blanket is a great idea for being surrounded by cold freezing water.

pacific play tent cottage bed tent, twin ($39.97)
what better shelter to have than a little princess house tent? ha ha, but seriously my idea of staying warm is, having a small but decent size tent. I am also staying by myself so why would I need a bigger tent? the shelter part was my next idea of staying alive.

Gerber gator bolo machete ($28.89)
this machete is cheap but it also looks like it can get the work done with almost everything. from killing animals, to cutting down huge gigantic leaves to cover up my tent with! a machete can come in handy for many things.

broil master grill rack ($31.50)
I had so much money left over, the only thing else I could think of was "where am I going to cook my food? I've got the utensils, the fire, now all i need is a grill rack"! see my plan was, I could stack rocks in a circle and place the rack on top with the fire in the middle, and eat. so I've got pretty much everything I can think of to survive on this island!

#26 stranded

I would take this survival kit because it has almost everything I would need like a tent, machete, and some first aid items. having this survival kit would allow me to hunt animals to eat and such. id also have a warm place to sleep in the two sleeping bags the kit comes with tactical gears and emergency tools.

next I would take along this portable water purifier, because even though the survival kit comes with water packs already were going to run out soon. so water purifier would be a good thing to bring. staying hydrated to have energy to get food is a good idea
last I would bring my jack russell terrier mix chihuahua, not only because she would be good with hunting down food, but Id also get lonely! I've had her for almost two years and who wouldn't want a companion on a stranded island? so my dod Lula would be my last thing id bring to this island!

#25 more lying and buckets

with what I've done with my research and work, I have concluded that earl was the one who stole the candy bar. I chose this because it was the only one who had three trues and two false.

About Me

Hello my name is maria rebeca saavedra solis. I was named after the virgin mary, my middle name however was after my grandpas ex girlfriend. What a twist right? Anywho I live with my dad and step mom in costa mesa but im originally from anaheim. I hate it here, I pretty much hate it anywhere. anyways I'm an only child but with 15+ half brothers and sisters. my dad was everywhere.... he was famous for a short amount of time, he was in a band (about 5 or so) then he became a dj. all that changed when I came in.  I'm pretty much the first child he's ever raised without him disappearing.

my mother (my biological mother) have no words for her. she just hasn't been in my life for so long that I now take no interest in her. no now its just my dad and I (with my step mom and three other siblings). we live a decent life. but I want to do more with my life. I want to travel and explore. I want to see things that you only see in movies! I want to change at least a small part or the world and be recognized not just for me caring about people but because I did something. we all want to be something and someone in life but like Darwin's laws of life only the strongest live off. lets see if I'm one of them.
